Cunic
Cunic Homes' rebrand to Cunic, delivered by Hobart studio Mulch, had been in the works for a while, and the website project sat in limbo until that new brand was locked in. Once confirmed, the build became more complex than a typical refresh: existing site content needed to carry across alongside the fresh look and feel the rebrand called for. The previous site was content-dense but lacked overview and structure, so the new build needed to bring order to that content while reflecting Cunic's new identity right down to the colour palette and imagery. SEO added another layer of complexity. The old site ranked reasonably well, particularly on its primary search term, so the priority became carrying across as much of that SEO equity as possible while pages were restructured, added and removed.
View live project →The Cunic website turns a content-dense, hard-to-navigate site into a clear, brand-led experience, while carrying across as much of the previous site's search visibility as possible through a full rebrand.
Cunic's new identity, developed by Hobart studio Mulch, runs through every part of the site: colour palette, layout, imagery and tone. Because the rebrand spans everything from building signage to printed flyers, the website needed to match that standard exactly, with every decision approved by the client along the way.
Hobart House and land packages are the core of Cunic's business, and the new site puts them front and centre. Heavy use of Webflow CMS, combined with filtering, lets prospective buyers narrow down packages by the criteria that matter to them, instead of scrolling through everything on offer.
The previous site had plenty of information but little structure to help visitors find their way through it.
The new build reorganises that content into a longer-format version of Cunic's showroom experience and printed materials, giving the brand room to breathe while still covering everything a buyer needs to know.
SEO sits at the centre of this project.
The old site ranked well, especially on its primary search term, so a full SEO audit was carried out to identify what needed to carry across as pages were added, restructured and removed. That work continues alongside Will and the Cunic team, with the goal of strengthening search presence while building on the standing the previous site had already earned.
As a web design Hobart project, there's clear scope for further work here, and it's one Wakeford Digital is keen to keep progressing with Will.

Hobart business Knest’s staged website delivers a clean, modern landing page with video messaging, brand consistency, and Webflow CMS integration.
