Bear and Bird needed a stage one website to support product sales ahead of upcoming events while staying true to an established brand design. The project involved close collaboration with designer Demelza Rafferty, who supplied the initial visual direction. The challenge was translating this design into a functional website, introducing e-commerce without complexity, and ensuring the client could manage products and content independently after launch. The site also needed flexibility to support future growth without overbuilding the initial release.

A central focus of the build was translating the supplied design into a working website without compromising the visual identity. The final result closely reflects the original creative direction while meeting the practical requirements of an online store, including product display, pricing, and variation management. Shopify integration provides a reliable and affordable purchasing system, keeping both costs and administration manageable.
Webflow CMS was used to manage products, bottle variations, and content updates, while a structured approach to news and updates gives the client flexibility for ongoing communication. Recorded walkthrough videos and a clear CMS setup support self-management after launch, reducing reliance on ongoing developer support.
