Dunalley Bay Sauna was launching a new business and needed a clear, professional online presence with the website as the primary platform of bookings. The main challenge was creating a clean, image-led site that could communicate the sauna experience while supporting a flexible booking system for individual sessions, public group bookings, and full private hire, all without adding complexity for users. The website also needed to guide both new and returning visitors quickly towards booking, while remaining easy to manage and ready to support ongoing growth.
View live project →The new Dunalley Bay Sauna website delivers a clean, visually engaging platform that puts the booking experience front and centre, making it easy for both first-time visitors and returning guests to reserve a session with minimal friction.
A key focus of the build was ensuring that bookings remained the clear priority throughout the site. A persistent Book Now button, paired with well-placed calls to action across every page, guides users naturally from exploring the sauna experience through to confirming a reservation. Acuity Scheduling was integrated to handle individual, public, and private sessions, providing a flexible system that runs reliably without the need for manual management.
Large imagery and concise language work together to communicate what the sauna experience involves, from the coastal setting to the facilities themselves. A well-structured FAQ section supports new visitors in understanding the offering before committing, helping to reduce enquiries and build confidence in the booking process.
Webflow CMS was used for FAQs and gallery content, allowing the client to keep the site current without technical assistance. The result is a simple but effective Hobart web design that balances visual appeal with day-to-day functionality, supports ongoing social media promotion, and provides a solid foundation as the business continues to grow.
