Back in July we spent time on site at the Medicare Mental Health Centre in Glenorchy, capturing the space for Francis Burne. It's a 490 square metre fit-out for Primary Health Tasmania, delivered with Tascon Constructions and completed that same month.
Francis Burne are moving beyond photography to video, using it to share the insight and detail behind their projects. That's a smart step. Photos show how a space looks, but video shows how it feels to move through it, and that's what draws people into a project.

We shot mostly inside, with some exterior work too given the prominence of the building. Our focus was a walkthrough feature and a set of social reels. The feature is a cinematic piece of around two to three minutes, built to carry the story of the space. The reels are shorter cuts for social, pulling out the details and moments that work best in a quick scroll. There was no drone on this one.
We worked alongside Natasha Mulhall, who was capturing the stills at the same time, so the video and photography were shot to complement each other. It's a stunning space in an important building in the Glenorchy landscape, and it shot really well.
Our favourite moment is the light coming through the curtain down the far side of the building.

It was also great to work with Francis Burne again, having worked alongside the team to design and redevelop their website preivously, so a real pleasure to now help them show off their projects on film.
The feature will be used as a social piece and on their website, and we'll share a link once it's live.
If you have a project that deserves more than photos, our videography work is built to capture the details that make a place worth visiting. Get in touch and we'll talk through what we can do for yours.
