Filming Educational Training Videos with Understorey Network

It's always great to reconnect with a past client, and this month we were back working with Understorey Network.

After we completed their website redevelopment, the Understorey team approached us to create a series of educational videos for their Growers Scheme programme.

The videos cover a range of practical topics, including seed care, seedling care, planting seeds and taking cuttings. Growers in the programme now get a more visual way to learn, seeing each step in action instead of reading about it.

We filmed over two days across a number of locations and came away with a great range of content.

We often talk with clients about how much value a single video shoot can create. Training videos were the main purpose of this project, but the same footage can work in plenty of other ways. From this one shoot, Understorey can get:

• Educational training videos for the Growers Scheme
• Short clips for social media, likely enough for three to four months of posts
• Still images for their website and marketing
• Blog posts, written from transcripts of the videos
