The aim was to capture the energy of the event and the emotions of the participants, from start to finish.
We arrived early on event day to film the setup, stalls, and finish line area. As participants completed the course, we recorded key moments—close-ups, crowd reactions, and scenes that highlighted the atmosphere. The final video was edited and uploaded that same evening to the City to Casino Facebook page, where it received positive feedback. Although we don’t have the exact view count yet, we’ll share those numbers once available.

The video covered a wide range of highlights, including the 2.7-kilometre finish line, race winners from the 7 and 12-kilometre events, medal presentations, cheering spectators, and behind-the-scenes moments. It successfully captured the essence of the day and now serves as a strong promotional tool for future events.
This was a great opportunity for Wakeford Digital to work with City to Casino and help showcase the event. Viewer comments showed strong engagement, with many people tagging friends and reminiscing about the day.
